A slight increase in temperature is normal. However, if the unit becomes hot to the touch or the temperature continues to rise, this is abnormal and is usually caused by a malfunctioning cooling fan, poor water circulation, or excessive dust buildup. You should shut down the machine immediately for inspection to prevent damage to the optical path power supply.

Q How should the phototherapy handpiece be properly cleaned and maintained?

After each operation, gently wipe the lens surface with a lint-free, soft cloth to remove dust and water spots. Do not soak the lens in large amounts of alcohol or scratch it with hard objects. Keeping the lens clear and clean can effectively prevent issues such as weak light output and uneven light spots.

Q Can photonic devices be used frequently over a long period of time?

Regular, long-term maintenance is recommended; however, extremely frequent, intensive treatments are not advised. Following a regular care routine ensures better skin tolerance and more consistent results.
